Chemical Engineering Partners employs technology and key personnel with proven expertise.

The individual team members bring their experience, knowledge and dedication to create an atmosphere of ingenuity and commitment to innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. These key employees include the following:

Joshua Park - CEO/President

Joshua started with Chemical Engineering Partners in 2007 as the Engineering/Project Manager. He has directly and indirectly managed the technical aspects of CEP’s projects the last five years. He also started up all the plants for which he managed the engineering phases of the project. In 2010, he was promoted to the position of Vice President, Operations and was promoted as the President of the company in 2011. Prior to joining CEP, Joshua was the Plant Manager for Mueller Industries in Ontario, California. Before working for Mueller, Joshua specialized in engineering project management for Rain Bird Corporation, where he also developed and patented the world's most plug resistant drip emitter. Joshua also worked for Arco Products Company as a Process Engineer at the Wilmington Refinery and at the Engineering and Technology Center where he focused on process optimization and de-bottlenecking projects. Joshua obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA with honors.

Harrison Phillips - CFO

Harrison also worked in public accounting in 2002 and throughout college at Saint Mary’s in Moraga where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

David Ng - Process Engineer

David joined CEP in December of 2011.  After graduating from UCLA with a Chemical Engineering degree, he worked at a start-up RO membrane company, NanoH2O.  During this time, David was heavily involved in transitioning the research lab that started at UCLA into a fast growing manufacturing environment.  He designed and implemented equipment that effectively quadrupled manufacturing capacity.  David is an exciting addition to the CEP team.

Dr. Robert S.P. Liu - Process Engineering Consultant

A graduate from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (now Polytechnic University) with MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Liu brings with him over 40 years of industrial experience in various oil refinery, process, chemical, petrochemical, and power plant projects throughout the United States and overseas. Dr. Liu worked for CEP for several years before retiring and working as a consultant. When working for CEP, he was the project manager for the 60,000 metric tons per year used oil re-refining project in Finland.  Previously, he spent 18 years as a process Engineer at Fluor Corporation, where he helped design many petroleum and petrochemical facilities. Prior to his experience with Fluor, he worked for five years as a Chemical Research Engineer engaged in pilot-plant chemical reactions and synthesis. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Chemical) in California and Pennsylvania.
